The way in which a work is presented.

For most of the semester, we did not really discuss media and personally, I never took media into account when writing any of my major assignments. The only time we discussed media was at the start of the semester when we first learned about the elements of the rhetorical situation. We discussed how the intended audience impacts the media the information presented through. One example of audience-impacting media we discussed was the difference between young and older audiences, younger audiences tend to consume social media to a greater extent, and older audiences tend to consume television more. Aside from this discussion media was not really discussed throughout the semester.
